The good old days when doctors and nurses went to a patient's house are back, thanks to Levindale's Senior House Calls Program.
Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center and Hospital, in partnership with Jewish Family Services, works with nurse practitioners to provide routine care in the homes of people with physical and/or mental health disabilities who are unable to get to a doctor's office.
If your loved one is able to get to a doctor's office, Levindale's Geriatric Medical Associates may be just what he or she needs to be healthy. This group of top-notch physicians treats individuals able to leave home for care. Doctors with additional training and/or expertise in geriatric medicine provide health care services to adults and seniors in the community.
Services include primary care, geriatric assessments, acute care hospital coverage for Sinai Hospital patients, primary care for Levindale patients and 24-hour-a-day coverage through an answering service.
